These two are my best friends and it’s hard being split apart. But 13 more weeks and we will be united again.
I had my first episode last night in months/ possibly a year. I’m ruined and I can’t manage anything right now.
Sometimes I forget how lucky I am, but today is a good day; I am happy, I love my job, I have amazing dogs, my mother is healthy (as health as she’s been in 20 years), I get to see my sister tomorrow night, my other sister has cooled off and is no longer angry at me, and I get to see my eldest sister again (in roughly 100 days), when I go back to Englan, and I’m going to Portugal & Spain for her 30th, and it hit me exactly how in love I am.
That last one probably seems weird because Julian and I have been together 3+ years and I’ve obviously loved him the entire time. But it’s easy to forget to love someone, feel that love and appreciate them.

I made this cake yesterday for may the fourth / Star Wars Day. It turned out really well :) I also made a Yoda costume for Rosie and an Ewok costume for Poppy.

I’m so impressed by the passion and bravery of the Italian activists who freed 30 beagles from Green Hill, a massive, hellish breeding farm that supplies dogs to vivisection labs.
Because of their loving and forgiving nature, beagles are commonly tested on all across the world (notoriously by cigarette companies, with the exception of American Spirits). Unfortunately, a few of the beagles were confiscated and returned to their prison, but they will not be forgotten. My hope is that their story and their sacrifice will be shared and publicized so that people will open their hearts and eyes and stand up against unreliable, unjustified animal testing.
Keep being awesome, Italians.
Look how beautiful that dog is! How could anyone support any industry that exploits helpless animals like these guys? (thats a rhetorical question incase you didn’t get it.) I don’t understand the world. It makes me want to cry.
